Blessing of the Animals Sunday Oct 11th 11:30am - Front of Church
All are invited to a fun blessing of all God’s animals of the world. You don’t need a
pet to enjoy this service. Invite your friends, neighbors, and relatives!
Bring your pet, a picture of pet, cell phone pic, or name of pet to be blessed by
Pastor Cathy. Pets receive a certificate and treats! The service will be held outside
near the main doors to the sanctuary building.
We’ll also have a memorial table- bring names or pictures of past beloved pets.
“Blessing of the Animals” is done in October near the Feast of St Francis. St Francis
is the “Patron Saint of Animals”
October Pet Food Drive
Donations of pet food will be delivered to the Renton Salvation Army Food Bank
and Kent Animal Shelter (Regional Animal Services of King County - RASKC).
Donation collection boxes throughout October in the narthex and preschool
entrance and outside by front door.
Donations can help someone on a limited income keep their beloved pet and can
help the shelter provide food and other items.

Bible Study Starting Sept 8th Tuesday's 9:45am- 11:15am
Join Pastor Cathy today after worship for a monthly Sunday study of “How the Bible
Actually Works” by Peter Enns. It’s easy to read and filled with compassion and a
goal to help readers with the ever-present task of understanding a collection of
documents, books, and letters, thousands of years old, in a 21st century world.
Today we’ll be working through chapters 1-4.
