This fall the Tuesday Bible Study will be reading and discussing Marcus Borg’s book, Reading the Bible Again for the First Time - Taking the Bible Seriously but not Literally.  Borg is a well known biblical scholar who has popularized reviewing our assumptions about our faith that block us from embracing and growing in our faith.  One of those assumptions is about how to read the bible and what is actually in the bible.  I hear quite often people say that 1. They don’t understand the bible much and 2. They would like to know more about it.  Here is a good chance to do so.  The book addresses how to read the bible and then reviews the basic parts of the bible and discusses how we can see them all differently when we read them differently.

The class is held on Tuesdays at 9:30 am.  If you are interested in coming but need child care we will make the attempt to provide it.  If you are interested in the book but work during the day, let me know…. I can be creative.  If you have questions about the class contact me.
