The Stephen Ministry program is a mission in our church to reach out and walk alongside those who are going through a difficult time or just need someone to talk with for a short time.

Stephen Ministers go through 50 hours of training in providing emotional and spiritual care. The goal is for the Stephen Minister to meet privately, once a week, for about an hour with the person to whom they are assigned. This gives that person a chance to share with someone who will care and pray for them. All meetings are confidential and no one is ever spoken of by name in this program. Those who become Stephen Ministers meet twice a month to pray for our Care Receivers, encourage each other and continue learning how to listen and respond to those with whom we are meet.
