Here's what's happening this month:

BREAKFAST CLUB

March is a busy, crazy month for Breakfast Club! We will have class on March 2nd and 9th, skip two weeks, and then we are back on the 30th! The Jr. High will discuss the topic, “Would the Real Me Stand Up?” for the first two Sundays. They will start a 3-week program, “Talking the Walk” on the 30th.  The Sr. High are focusing their time this month on “Faith and Film”. They will be looking at themes in films that connect us to living the way of faith.

YOUTH VOCAL BAND

The Youth Vocal Band will start out on Sunday, March 2nd by singing at both services! We will be joining the adult choir for a new experience this month. Our rehearsals will be at 5:30 on March 9th and 30th. We will not practice on the 16th due to the retreat or the 23rd, which is Easter. Remember how fun it is to sing? Join us and bring a friend!

YOUTH GROUPS

Our first meeting this month is a Dinner Night beginning at 5:30, followed by a program until 8:15. On March 9th we encourage all of you and your families to participate in packaging the AIDS Kits for Caregivers, the mission project that Megan Bublitz has been coordinating. We will not meet on the 16th, nor Easter Sunday. March 30th will be a regular meeting from 6:30 -8:15. We really have been missing some of you and hope to see you at one of the Sundays this month!

STARLIGHT SOUND DANCE

Bear Creek United Methodist Church will host the Starlight Sound Dance on March 8th. We will meet to carpool from church at 7:00. Please sign up or contact Gayle Meyers no later than Wednesday, March 5 to reserve a spot. All youth will need a current Medical Release Form on file to attend. Thanks!

SUMYT RETREAT

The SUMYT Retreat at Camp Indianola is March 14-16 this year. Please arrive at church at 4:00 to load up and go! We will need a couple of parent drivers so if you are available please call Gayle Meyers to get more information.

YOUTH PLANNING MEETING

Want to have some input on what the youth programs will be next fall? Then come to the Youth Planning Meeting on Sunday, March 30th at 11:45. We will be getting the calendar set and need your ideas! See you there!

CONVO IS NEAR!!

CONVO will be held at UPS this year on Memorial Day weekend, May 24-26. Registration forms will be available later this month. Take time to read the information, new things are being offered as well as some great workshops!
