Are you a High School or Jr. High student and interested in learning about God?  Then you've come to the right place. It is truly a great time to be in the Fairwood Youth Group!  With one of the largest and most active Methodist youth groups in the state there is bound to be something your interested in.  We do everything from ice skating, to fixing houses for the elderly, and even go to dances once a month.  We have an amazing youth staff (and parent volunteers)  that donate hours and hours of their time to the youth each week.  So check the schedule and come out and join us on Sunday nights for singing, fun, and fellowship in Christ.

ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS ARE HERE! ONLY $20!!

The youth are selling the Entertainment Books again this year. Books cost only $20.00 this year, with a portion of the proceeds from every book supporting our programs, retreats, and CONVO. The books will be sold between services and after the second service through the middle of December. You can also buy online at www.entertainment.com/support and enter account number 64416 when prompted.

Youth Group Fundraising

Our Youth Group is participating in a powerful fundraising opportunity called eScrip. All earnings will help fund Work Camp.

What is eScrip?

eScrip is a hassle-free way for our Youth Group to raise funds through everyday purchases made at eScrip merchants.

How does it work?

eScrip and hundreds of merchant partners have created a system that rewards customer loyalty by contributing a percentage of purchases to your chosen group. You shop the way you like to shop for groceries, clothing, travel and entertainment. It’s simple and convenient, all you need to do is register your Safeway Club Card and, if you wish, debit/credit card(s). Our main goal at this time is to register Safeway Club Cards.

Log on to www.escrip.com and go to "sign up", or see our fundraising coordinator (Kathy Porter) for details.

Designate our group to receive contributions. Our Group ID is #163941651, or look under our name Fairwood Comm United Methodist Church. Register your Safeway Club Card—and, if you wish, your debit, ATM and credit cards.

That's it!  Every time you use your Safeway Club Card, a percentage of your spending will be credited to our account.  You will still receive your card discounts.  There is no cost to you.  If you have already signed up for eScrip through another organization, you can still add us on, and your money will be split between each group. It's automatic! We can potentially receive hundreds of dollars from your participation alone!

The Youth will be using this as a fundraiser all year. It is any easy way to contribute to their mission trip. Thank you for your support!

If you're going to join us on outings, you'll need to have a Youth Health and Consent Form (MS Word Document) on file.  An Adobe Acrobat PDF version of the same form is also available here if you don't have Microsoft Word.
