What's in Your Toybox?

Testing for toxic chemicals in your child's toys

This last year has seen many recalls of popular toys. But what about the ones that are still in your child's toybox or playroom? Tests are showing that many products that our children are in contact with daily, including carseats, bottles, sippy cups and toys, are contaminated with dangerous toxics such as heavy metals and PVC.

It is not just products from China and it is not just lead as a contaminant!

Join the Greening Task Force and the Washington Toxics Coalition in the Parlor, 6:30 pm on March 6th as we discuss this important issue.  Bring toys, carseats, bottles, etc and have them TESTED by a state of the art analyzer that will tell you what is in these products and at what levels!  Please bring the products you want tested in a bag with your family's name on it.

Dessert, organic coffee and tea will be served!
