Enrollment activities for the next school year are in high gear in our preschool!  In January and early February, Joyful Hearts Preschool was represented at two local “preschool fairs” in Renton and Maple Valley for prospective families.  At both events, there was a tremendous interest in our preschool and in our program of ministry.  An Open House was held on February 12th so that prospective families could visit the preschool facility and meet staff and pastors.  Many prospective families have also visited our preschool during class time to observe.  It has been a very busy two-month period for Joyful Hearts Preschool!

Early registration commitments for the 2008/2009 school year are very encouraging!  Registration fees have been received for approximately 15 children for the 4/5-year-old class, and 6 children for the 3-year-old class. 

Our preschool has also been busy with staffing activities.  In mid-February, Jenni Yager stepped down from her role as assistant teacher.  Jenni did a wonderful job with the children, and will be missed!  At the time of the writing of this article, recruiting activities for staffing are also in high gear.  Information regarding employment opportunities with Joyful Hearts Preschool will be communicated in Sunday bulletins as appropriate.  If you have questions, please contact Carmella  Bowen in person, by calling the church or via email at joyfulhearts@msn.com.
