Our fund-raiser Dinner Auction on September 22^nd was a HUGE success!  Over 100 people enjoyed a delicious dinner and a fun evening bidding on items to benefit our Joyful Hearts Preschool.  The Dinner Auction committee was overwhelmed with the MANY donations of gift baskets from various church groups, as well as those from our congregation and local businesses.  Many of you donated your time by serving on the Dinner Auction committee, in the collection of donated items and in the set-up and clean-up activities for the dinner auction event.  THANKS to all of this, our Joyful Hearts Preschool has funds that will help continue our ministry this year of demonstrating God’s love to local children and their families!  THANK YOU!

Our church has also received donated playground equipment from Nativity Lutheran Church after the closure of their Our Place program.  Close to TWENTY volunteers showed up with less than one week’s notice on September 15^th to disassemble the donated playground equipment and bring it to our church property.  It was amazing to see how many people were so willing to give up a portion of their Saturday afternoon for this work!

In these, and SO MANY other ways, our church has given generously to this important new ministry.  Your time, financial support, donations and prayers are deeply appreciated!  May God continue to bless the mission of our Joyful Hearts Preschool!
