As mentioned in last month’s SPRC corner, it may seem like much of the church’s work just happens. In truth, we are blessed with a staff of individuals who assist the church in its many ministries.

Joletta Holman, our church administrator and Epistle editor, recently celebrated her 10^th year with the church. According to Pastor Paula, she is “definitely the pastors’ right hand person. We wouldn’t survive without her.”

Joletta enjoys the opportunity to meet the people who come to the office each week. In some ways, she says, she feels closer to the people here than in her own church. She loves the many challenges of her job:  keeping the church books;  managing all building use; answering phone calls and e-mails; and operating the copier, computer, and folding machine. She is also happy to create and design the many new things the Pastors ask of her, including prayer cards, bulletin covers, tri-fold announcement inserts—just to name a few.

Feel free to drop by the office to meet with one of our church’s most valued staff members. She’ll greet you with coffee in hand, a smile on her face, and a willingness to help do God’s work.
